La Dama is a family run winery: we produce our organic wines using only the grapes that come from our vineyards and we give our guests the chance to experience our world through guided tours and wine-tastings.
This was a delightful opportunity to visit a local and very friendly, family run vineyard. Our host gave us a tour of the cellars, then carefully explained the wine making processes for each wine that we sampled. His enthusiasm for producing high quality Valpolicella wines was obvious and infectious !. Thank you for your hospitality and a most memorable evening !

Fratelli VOGADORI is a family winery in Negrar, the heart of the Valpolicella wine region. Fratelli is the italian for brothers: Alberto, Gaetano and Emanuele work together their vineyards and produce the great wines of this generous land. Valpolicella, Ripasso, Recioto, Raffaello, Amarone, 100% Corvina wines are appreciated all around the world. We have also avaible some rooms in the side of the winery where our guests can stay and realax: here there is a wonderful view of the valley! The winery is open also the saturday and sunday
This is my favourite cellar in Valpolicella: Amarone, Raffaello and Corvina are really well done wines! Price is really fair and i am really happy when i visit this family!

For over a hundred years the Recchia family have been mastering wine makers. For many generaons the family has been living in the heart of Valpolicella in the valley of Negrar. Wine making flows in their blood. Their love for the local terrior and its tradions makes their wines special. What makes a great wine? Knowledge of the land, the growing of grapes and the tradions of wine making are combined to make a great wine. The Recchia family has learnt to culvate the highest quality grapes, which is the most important thing in the art of wine making. They have chosen the best land, with the best soil types and posion for grape growing. They have then selected the best grape variees for the producon of the different types of wine. Then they decided on the best trellising support for the grapes. The process takes me but aer a hundred years the family has had had me to develop.
This was our 3rd and final wine tasting of the day, and probably one of the better ones to do in Negrar. We booked a 4pm tasting by phoning earlier in the day. The service was super friendly and welcoming. For €10 each, we got to sample 6 different wines. We had our tasting looking out over the valley towards Verona on a day where there wasn’t a cloud in the sky... it couldn’t have been a nicer view!

Wow what a treat! My wife and I have been on many wine tastings but none that tasted as good as Quintarelli wines. Well worth the 30 minute drive from Verona Italy or 2 1/2 hour drive from Florence. Francesco the third generation part owner gives a very informative and interesting tour. His mother and father that are still active in the business and live in a beautiful home connected to the winery. We thought the wines were excellent and when we went to Tuscany and mentioned this winery, several winemakers said they have the best red wines in all of Italy. Only suggestion would be to offer some meat and cheese during the tastings. Not sure I can wait very long to start drinking the bottles we brought back!

Vigneto dei Salumi represents the origins of my family, and the history of Valpolicella. Founded in 1960 by my father Elio Ceradini, the company opens the artisan workshop in Arbizzano di Negrar (Verona). In 2004 we began to combine the wisdom of Valpolicella wines with the artisan processing of Italian meats. Walter Ceradini, that of the Vinappeso.
