What a wonderful day trip from Toulon and our cruise ship. Sasha from Toursbylocals was supurb! Cannot say enough about this great day excursion. We had a wonderful day driving first to Aix-en-Provence- just a lovely French town (for a quick, buttery croissant & coffee) and onto Cassis a pleasant fishing village by the sea. Sasha led us to a delicious seaside lunch spot where mussels & fries were the local specialties. Cassis was a fun town to walk around and view the locals enjoying their Sunday at the shore. We then drove to the highest scenic road to a fantastic view of the city and area. Sasha knew so much about the sites and the area. Though we learned about the Calanques, we did not have time for a boat ride to visit the spot but learned about these very special and unique places. Everyone loved Sasha as our guide and this special day excursion.

This winding road connects La Ciotat to Cassis, offering spectacular views and an exceptional panorama over La Ciotat's bay & Ile Verte beyond. This is a review about our experience "so far" with Christopher and Ooh Provence. A number of months ago, as usual, I did extensive research and found a photographer and I contacted him to see about a photo experience while in Marseille. He responded immediately and then told me about his tour company which extends beyond just photography. It was perfect...a guide that could help 2 amateur photographers get some unique shots in a great city plus learn about the history at the same time. I find this is a great way to explore a city. So, of course ,I booked and paid the deposit etc. and we confirmed our date. Then along came Covid 19 and I finally had to cancel .This company offers full refund up to 24 hours in advance of tour and Christopher had no problem with an immediate refund. I will add that is not the case with some hotels etc. I am so impressed with the customer service under very extraordinary circumstances and will definitely book with Ooh Provence in the future when we can return post Covid. Based on my experience so far I am sure we will have a great time touring Marseille and the surrounding area with Christopher. I often find the true test of a good travel company is how they handle unexpected problems and can be flexible. Christopher delivers on this for sure!!

19 hours before the flight it got canceled by email without any explanation... Very bad service!! Not possible to make contact with the organisation either.
