The city offers a quaint shopping village, an excellent base for exploring the Salton Sea or biking Bear Creek Trail, and, of course, superb golfing. Hey, you Catholics out there! St. Francis is a beautiful church on beautiful grounds. We attended 7:30 am Mass here last Sunday morning. Fr. McLaughlin, the pastor, presided over Mass. He's from Scotland, and delivered a couple jokes during the homily. Nice effort, Fr. McLaughlin. It's always good to come across a priest from Scotland who knows how to keep the flock awake! Note: this is a busy place. They pack'em in. So, you better plan to be here at least 10-15 minutes early to get a good seat. Enjoy. Amen.

This monument is attractive. It has a huge boulder. It is dedicated to the Firefighters and the sheriff. This was made at the Department of Foresty. They named it: Dedication, Courage and honor. Worthwhile to see!

What a fun old town to walk, gorgeous views and wonderful shops and restaurants. We stayed here with the plan to drive to Palm Springs but never left La Quinta as we loved the town so much. Great views, golf, and food options make this a must.

I attended the Golf Made Simple School in Phoenix in January of 2019. The teaching philosophy is extremely simple to understand. I am a high intermediate player and at first thought that the instruction might be too basic, however, the course teaches and simplifies everything about the swing and takes a very practical and no nonsense approach. The lessons are easy to understand and remember and the drills each serve a purpose whether it be club head control or posture. You can practice these drills inside. One thing the course might add is giving each participant a drill video that you can purchase on Amazon. These helped me through the cold winter months! Tick tock! Really have fun playing and not sweating the small things about the swing!
