Following a posting to work in Peru, I decided to bring my family over here to experience the lifestyle and culture. I decided to take my annual vacation whilst here and wanted to travel parts of Peru, after being told about this company I made contact with Patricia (the owner). What a pleasure it was dealing with Patricia, she asked what we wanted to see, durations type of things we like and built an adventure across various parts of Peru for us. All aspects of the trip were catered for, from all of our pickups, hotels, excursions etc, which helped us as our Spanish is very limited. Patricia checked up on us most days, to make sure everything was going ok, that we had enjoyed what had been booked etc, it gave it such a personal touch, to know that someone was helping / watching / travelling with us through this massive country if something went wrong and that we had not just been left alone like many big tour operators would have. If your planning a trip to various parts of Peru, then I would definitely advise contacting her before the massive tour operators, the service is personal, reflects what you want, exclusively tailored made to suit both what you want and your budgets. #welovepataperutravel

Lenin from Viator provided lots of miscommunications about Machu Picchu. This included timing of entrance (2 hours later than expected), drop off time (6 hours later than expected), the name of our tour person (no signage or pick up was done, when it was promised), drop off location of the hotel (was dropped off at the City Plaza instead at 1:30 am), and pick-up for the hotel to the airport (car service never arrived, and we took an uber instead). We confirmed all timing with Lenin the day before and even re-confirm the pick-up for the airport the day before. When we complained to Viator, they brushed it off and provided a $20 reimbursement for the taxis and ubers needed in lieu of their pick up, but for seem to have little disregard to the delays and miscommunications of Lenin. We also had a hard time getting a hold of Lenin. He told us to reach out via cell phone/text, and out of 8+ calls, he only called back once. This would have been rated 1 (terrible), if the other two days (City Tour (Sacsayhuaman) and the Sacred Valley) did not go as communicated. Book at your own risk. Would not recommend.

We had an absolutely fantastic 4 nights and 5 day Salkantay Trek to Machu Pichu with Pacha Expedition. We were met by Javier Mendoza at our hotel a few days before our hike who went over all the expectations, gave us maps and travel bags and answered all of our questions. At 9:00pm the night before we were to be picked up bright and early the next morning to start our trek, my son discovered he had forgotten to pack his sleeping bag! I quickly emailed Javier who happened to be checking his emails throughout the evening and was able to bring us a sleeping bag the next morning! The whole adventure went so smoothly from the various pickup times and locations, to the modes of transportation, to the sleeping arrangements, to the wonderful food provided along the trek and to our incredible guide who led the 10 of us up and over the 15,000+ foot pass and gave us the tour of Machu Pichu. The company really seemed to care about our safety and comfort and took care of so many small details. We loved our final night at a lovely hotel in Agua Caliente where we got warm showers before hiking up to Machu Pichu the next day. I highly recommend this tour company and working with Javier. It was a trip to be remembered and cherished for a life time! Thank you!!
