We enjoyed a four day get away at Cambridge Suites mid May, 2022. The hotel is renovating and it looks fabulous! We enjoyed dinner two evenings at Trio Restaurant in the hotel, the food and the service was great! We would highly recommend Cambridge Suites for your home away from home! Absolutely delightful!

Our group of 4 (including family from Alberta) had a fantastic meal in the dining room. Although it was only the second day open after the winter season, the staff were very attentive and professional. All the meals were delicious! The brussel sprout salad was flavorful and very well presented, as were the crab cakes!! All the seafood dishes including fish and chips, mussels and seafood al fredo were excellent. One member of the party required a gluten free meal, and the chef made a delicious version of the catch of the day with oil, lemon etc. We think it should be added to the menu!! The whole experience was a 10/10!!!

Decent restaurant in Baddeck……reasonably priced, nice dining room. Service is ok. Food is a bit salted and unimaginative…although finding potatoes and gnocchi im my chowder is somewhat unusual. Fish and chips…fries are good,…mussels are generous but oversalted.

Overpriced for a place very outdated and run down. The website photos are clearly very old and not up to date. The unit under us partied all hours of the night until approximately 5am. They have no one to speak with after 11pm about concerns such as this and were not empathetic at all the next morning.

Stay was alright, food was interesting and very different. We did the boat tour and the boat operator said a racist term “Like a n****r in a wood pile.” After filing a complaint the lodge issued 2 week suspension without pay.

My husband and I got married at Fox Harb'r Resort through their elopement package this past weekend and cannot say enough amazing things about our experience! Dawn and Charlene were both incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, kind and patient and worked so hard to make our day go off perfectly! Dawn even went out of her way to help my husband and I be the first wedding in the Joyce Centre when we were required to use our rain plan! We were lucky enough to have Bryson driving us to our ceremony location and for our pictures! He is incredible and brought extra positivity to our day! When my husband had a last minute request to take wedding pictures with shot guns, Bryson went out of his way to help us make that happen! Morgan was our photographer and while she does not work for Fox Harb'r is extremely incredible and knowledgeable of the area for perfect wedding photos! All of our guests raves about how amazing and fun she was to take pictures with (especially with our very excited young nephew) and we couldn't agree more! Our meals at Cape Cliff were incredible and all of the staff worked so hard to make us feel special and ensure we were well fed! My husband and I are so proud to be a bride and groom of Fox Harb'r Resort and recommend this venue and elopement package to everyone!

Point of View is perched on the edge of a four acre peninsula that sweeps out to the magnificent Atlantic Ocean. As your hosts to this extraordinary property, we are proud to welcome you with a premier level of service and first-class amenities. We are the only accommodation property in Louisbourg with water frontage and private beach for your relaxation and recreation pleasures. Enjoy retiring at night and waking in the morning to the soothing sounds of the waves on our shore. We look forward to making your visit a memorable experience.
We stayed at Point of View Suites for two nights in mid October. Our room was on the second floor corner. A flight of stairs led up to a clean, spacious modern suite with kitchen. The suite and the small balcony have superb views of the bay and the fortress in the distance. No noise issues either and never heard our neighbors. Save and convenient parking right outside. The breakfast available in the reception building was excellent. Service was helpful and forthcoming. I would highly recommend staying here when visiting Louisbourg. The fortress was about 15 minutes away. Apparently the hotel was just starting on renovations and will be even nicer next year.
