The fourth Senke clan head, Soshitsu Senso served the third lord of the Kaga domain, Toshitsune Maeda as his master of tea ceremony. Until Lord Toshitsune's passing, Soshitsu instructed the ways of tea to everyone from high ranking retainers to commoners. In 1997, the Senso Yashiki and Gen'an Tea House was built in commemoration of the 300th anniversary of Soshitsu's passing.

Yunokuni no Mori is a traditional craft village that was built on a large site by moving an old private house with a thatched roof from the Edo period to the Meiji period. We display and sell traditional Japanese crafts such as Wajima Lacquer, Kutani ware, Yamanaka lacquerware, and gold leaf crafts. You can also get hands-on experience with craftsmen. You can also experience tea ceremony, making sweets, and making soba noodles. There are three places to eat. Enjoy the cherry blossom viewing, Tanabata, autumn leaves, snow scene and the four seasons of Japan.
