The fishing industry has long flourished along the coast of Boso Peninsula in Chiba Prefecture.During the Edo period, the culture of MAIWAI developed among the fisherman who lived by the sea in this area.Originally MAIWAI meant just celebrating a good catch, but over time it came to mean the kimonos that ship owners would distribute to fishermen for celebration of an especially good catch.
I'm Satoko and I would like to offer you Origami folding workshop. I love Origami as I am attracted to great creativity and possibility from a piece of paper. I would like to share this wonderful culture with many people. I was working as an international sales before and traveled a lot of countries. That time I loved to experience local life such as visiting local shops, talking with local business partners. So, I would like to provide experiences which travelers can enjoy local life.
