The recently refurbished Temple Golf Club, is Co. Down’s best kept secret! Recently taken over by the local Martin family, it offers not only great golf but sumptuous food and drink in stylish surroundings. It also caters for functions such as weddings, dinner dances, christening, birthdays etc. and offers great entertainment every weekend. Facilities also include 3 tennis courts. Set in the rolling drumlins of County Down, the course has magnificent views of Slieve Croob and the Mountains of Mourne which harnesses the natural environment in order to offer challenging golf and stunning views.
A group of us went to Temple GC for a celebration dinner. There was 7A5C - 2 of which were toddlers. Right from the word go Gerard couldnt have been more helpful. He had the table set beautifully just as promised and seated us beside friends who had also booked. He took a pre-order so that there wasn't long to wait which was great with the kids. All meals were amazing. We would especially recommend the Chicken Stack and the Steak. Kids meals were massive portions and all eaten, showing the quality. All in all it was a great dinner and belter night. We will definitely be back.

Spent the morning here for my sons 9th birthday party. Even thought storm Denis was in full flow, it didn’t dampen the part mood. Activities included quad bike riding, disco bouncy castle, reptile handling, barrel rides followed by delicious food. Brian and the team could not have been more helpful - everything we needed (including candles for the cake) wasn’t a problem. Brian and his young assistant were amazing with the kids and ensured the boys and girls were kept well entertained. Couldn’t recommend this venue highly enough. Such great value for money. Can’t wait to visit again. The beautiful barn tea room is a great wee spot for a cuppa whilst the kids are enjoying the activities. Fun for all the family. ????????????????

Visited this morning with 4 kids. Hadn’t realised you could book online or that it ran in sessions ( which I would have had I looked at the website lol) and due to it being v busy we were told it would b an hr wait to get in - which we accepted and were ok to wait our turn . However after 1.5hrs in the car journeying to get there our son with aspergers was not so willing to wait . So after 20 mins and In the interests of avoiding a meltdown and allowing the other kids a good day out I approached an amazing lady at the customer service point and explained our predicament to see if there was any way we could shorten the wait. She was truly amazing and disappeared with our details and came back with a special wrist band for my son and informed us we could go ahead in to the next session. Brilliant service that I hadn’t realised . Thanks so much to that v kind lady for allowing us to have a great day out also ! Will def be back and will recommend to others. Facilities in the pool r amazing for kids ????
