Benicàssim (Valencian pronunciation: [beniˈkasim], Spanish: Benicasim, Arabic: بنو قاسم according to numismatic findings) is a municipality and beach resort located in the province of Castelló, on the Costa del Azahar in Spain. The Desert de les Palmes mountain range further inland shelters the town from the north wind. The name is derived from the Banu Qasim tribe, a segment of the Kutama Berbers that settled the area during the 8th century Moorish conquest of Spain.

In Itinerantur we make interpretative trekking and we promote the development of sustainable tourism. What does this mean? It is very simple: we walk the paths of our lands while interpreting our spectacular natural and cultural heritage, both of which we consider inseparable in the Mediterranean region. We are LANDSCAPES TRANSLATORS.

It's a scenic and beautiful walk/ride on the path of an old railway. Very flat and enjoyable, full of locals.
Did this walk from Benicassim to Oropesa & back. It's a lovely flat walk with great views. Not much seemed open near the end at Orepesa, probably because it is out of season.
