Welcome to The Small Space, The UK's Smallest Theatre & Cinema, & The World's Smallest Magic Theatre. With only 20/25 seats in the downstairs auditorium and a bijou bar upstairs, this fully immersive magic theatre allows audiences to experience the art of illusion truly up-close and personal. Whether you're watching incredible card tricks across the bar or sitting with drink in-hand in the theatre at a stage show, we promise you won’t miss a thing. Guaranteeing a perfect view wherever you sit, the quirky surroundings, the ambience and with a great choice of beers, quality wines and spirits, The Small Space is big on atmosphere. As for the magic, the owner, and Resident Magician, Jasper Blakeley, is a member of the exclusive Magic Circle and is also an award-winning international performer with decades of experience. So come and see one of our weekly Resident Magician Shows a film in our 4K Dolby Atmos/DTS:X cinema, a live music evening, a touring play or even stand-up comedy.
Absolutely hysterical night, Jasper was so quick witted and kept us entertained with his jokes, magic and mind reading. Very brave man to accommodate 16 women alone. Kept to covid regulations and wore mask and plastic screen. Would strongly recommend this for a group looking for an evening of surprise!

Brilliant social distancing in the pub and great staff. I felt perfectly safe when visiting. Can’t fault them.

Myself and my sister, my brother in law and nephew visited here for lunch. We visited for 5.30pm and were shown to our table. We come here quite regularly, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The steaks here are delicious and I was tempted, but we all decided on the Sunday roast. The choice of meats were chicken, beef, pork or lamb. Myself and my sister had the beef and my brother in law had the lamb and my nephew had sausage beans and chips. The dinner was excellent and side dishes were bought out with a selection of veg, such as, cauliflower cheese, green beans, broccoli, and honey glazed carrots. On the plates were the meat, a huge yorkshire pudding, 2 roast potatoes and 1 new potato. There was plenty to eat, and was absolutely delicious! Based on that visit I would definitely book again for Sunday lunch and would highly reccomend it for a Sunday roast or a pub meal.

We decided to try here again, we both had the nut roast, vegetables and gravy, the nut roast was excellent, any vegetarians out there. I would highly recommend it, the staff are friendly, you have a 15 minute wait for the nut roast, & it is well worth the wait, wow, we will definitely go back again soon and have the same thing, thank you, well done.
