A fabulous waterfall and nature trial, you can swim in the refreshing waters and have a massage under the waterfall. Well signposted from route 4. Worth a visit.

We arrived by boat and then walked for a little way through semi jungle to a magnificent beach on the other side. This beach is very clean and unspoilt and has quite large waves for the adventurous and good swimmers. There are toilets and showers nearby. It is worth a trip - very non-touristy and lovely.

We went to the centre on one of the free afternoons we had whilst in Khao lak. It’s 60 Thai baht for adults and kids are free, when you go in there are lots of various size pools each holding all ages of sea turtles. We walked around looking at all the turtles, we had missed the feeding time, so they advise you not to touch them or put your hand in the water, as having sun cream on your hands may harm the turtles. It still lovely to look with d and see them all, you only need 45-60 mins to see it all, they have a lovely little gift shop too on site for you to buy a souvenir. And one your way out if you give your tickets back to the office they give you a fridge magnet as a souvenir too.

There is one small town on Thailand's west coast called Thai Mueang. It is not really a tourist place, but it has a few hidden gems. Lam Pi national park has two main attractions. Lam Pi waterfall and National par beach. The waterfall is easily accessible by car or scooter, and you can enjoy swimming with the fishes that would give you some skin peeling. It is a great place for a half an hour to stop on your way to Khao Lak from Phuket or vice versa. The other attraction is the beautiful beach as a part of the National park, and it is located after the Thai Mueang beach. For both attractions, you buy one ticket for 100 baht. If you came by car or scooter, you pay an additional 20 baht for the vehicle. In the national park you can buy only water and soft drinks, there is no food. Of course, you can have an excellent meal at one of many restaurants in Thai Mueang beach itself outside of national park boundaries. While in Thai Mueang, you should also visit the beautiful wooden Ta Sai temple on the beach. Experience to remember.

They do a good thing there. The pools were clean, hurt turtles get medicine. They have a lot of different pools. I‘m very glad that the navy does such a marvelous thing to help the turtles.
