If you're lucky you'll see splendid wrens and ospreys, what more could you ask for? This really is a gem of a spot on the edge of the estuary.

This beach is sheltered from the howling South-Westerlies common in summer. Clean sand and water that remains shallow for a good 50m out. Floating pontoon to jump off.

Silver sands apartments are spacious with good size kitchenette, washing machine and dryer. The bed is large and comfortable. There are lots of onsite facilities, BBQs, pools, spas, sauna, tennis & squash courts & games room. It is situated just outside Mandurah's main shopping and restaurant centre and a car is needed to access these. There is a small shopping centre and a few good restaurants and take-aways opposite and a tavern next door.

Great boat launching facilities, security & wash-down bays available. Boat supplies & fuel available. Casual dining at the Fish Shack with great fish & chips & snacks, or fine dining at the Coast Café. Fishing platforms with disabled access or simply launch your boat and enjoy crabbing on the Estuary or fishing close by in the ocean. Terrific starting point for lazy days up the rivers or a day trip into Mandurah town. Most days of the year you will witness the amazing local dolphins at play. A truly magical place not to miss!

Lake Clifton with 2000 years old thrombolites it’s about 30min outside of Mandurah ad these look like rocks are ancient forms of microbial communities that produce energy from sun ????????❤️ they can be found only in few places in WA and the world ????????❤️???????? beautiful nature and nature trails around the lake and area picnic tables and plenty parking available with public toilets. For wine lovers there is a winery and brewery right next door so trip well worth either way. We loved it
