Not a regular to the Odeon in Belfast and have been put off by prices in the past - that notion has been completely reversed after my recent visit. Tickets were only £3.50 on New Years Eve and normal ticket prices very reasonable in comparison to cinemas elsewhere in UK and Ireland (I travel a lot). However, and it’s a ‘big’ however, I have never experienced customer like it in my not inconsiderable days... This was down to a gentleman called Chris who is an absolute golden asset to the Odeon. Chris was a phenomenal help in purchasing tickets, advising on movie and food deals. Worth noting here that the food in Odeon many times better than Omniplex chain, even if normal expensive cinema prices. Didn’t feel as robbed this time! Back to the amazing Chris - he took his time to ensure we all got the best value from my family’s food purchases, entertained my eldest daughter with sizeable movie knowledge and book comparisons, and went as far as to make a list of book recommendations- writing them out and dropping them into my daughter in the cinema just prior to the movie being shown. An enthusiastic and knowledgeable employee - I was so impressed with someone who went well over and above to ensure a positive customer experience. I will be making a conscious effort to travel the extra distance to visit the Odeon in Victoria square more often - primarily because of this outstanding customer experience. I hope senior management see this review and ensure employees like Chris are empowered to continue to represent the chain in such a great way. Thank you Chris
