Disappointing Stay
Reviewed By Y6860FUbarbarafI was disappointed with our stay at the Best Western in Yuba City. One of many roosters roaming the property crowed continuously at 5:40 in the morning. For our three night stay, I expected housekeeping to visit our room. When I asked at the front desk why housekeeping had not visited, I was told that they only come after a fourth night in a room. I did request more towels and toilet paper which they gave me to take back to the room. The used towels stayed in the room for entire visit. I will look for different lodging next time.

Reviewed By Destination25828Human hairs (not mine) on sheets when I pulled bed covers back. Mold in bathroom, dirty/stained towels, wallpaper peeling, homeless going through trash in parking area. The whole area is very sketchy. Pictures on website are very deceiving. The place is a dump. Never again. $180.00 for one night. Manager was not friendly. Practically barked at me when telling me and my grandson we could take one each of their to go continental breakfast. We didnt take any. Stay away. Save your money.

No room in the Inn....and no phone call either!
Reviewed By LargefamilyTI booked two rooms at this hotel through Expedia for my family, 3 days ahead of our trip. I called the hotel in the afternoon of our reservation to try and confirm our stay. I was told that they had my reservations, but there might be an issue with the rooms we had requested (we had requested two of the multi bed suites). I was told they would look into it and figure it out before we arrived. Well, we spent all day driving and finally arrived at the hotel around 12:30 am. The parking lot was completely full and several other cars were trying to turn around in the small parking lot as there was no more room to park. I parked on the road and went into the office where I was told that they didn't have any rooms for us. The lady went on to say that only one of my reservations had actually gotten through (whatever that means) but I was never offered a chance to see if we even wanted that one! Apparently they ended up giving away that room since they couldn't fulfill our request of two rooms?!?! I was offered a refund (my account had already been charged) but so far they have only refunded one room, and not the two that they had originally charged. My biggest complaint is that nobody ever picked up a phone to let me know there was an issue with the rooms! That would have been good information to know before 1 o'clock in the morning! I am an understanding person and if they noticed there was an issue in the afternoon when I had first called and let me know they couldn't accommodate us, I would not have left this review. But they had several hours between my phone call and when I arrived to figure out there was an issue and to give me a call and nobody ever took the time to do that.

Reviewed By NKMRenoNVRoom clean but toilet seeps water from wax seal, in room coffee maker didn't work, TV set has been moved but wall behind old one not painted. Worst was security guard banging on the door at 11:30 pm to ask if we were the room that complained about the noise from down the row.

Reviewed By 890JimWA very clean room that provided for a good night's sleep. Very friendly desk staff welcomed us quickly. Several reaturaunts within walking distance. The story of the Yuba City chickens is posted and there are plenty wandering around. The have a good Hampton Inn breeakfast each day. Definitely a place to stay at when in Yuba City.
