Period property which is a gem & relaxing

We stayed one night but could have stayed longer. It’s a stone throw from the hustle & bustle of Tywyn. We received a warm welcome from the owner & shown to our room, which was huge, with a brilliant view & everything we needed. Breakfast was tasty and set us up well for the day. Everything was clean & tidy. We couldn’t fault a single thing. It’s only 90 mins away from where we live so we will be going back

Working in nearby Aberdovey and decided to stay here for 4 nights. Perfect for this as it has a good wi-fi connection and a desk in the room. Rachael was very accommodating with my breakfast packs. Highly recommend.

A brilliant long weekend

Reviewed By DaveCJan53

With some business in Tywyn we were looking for dog friendly accommodation nearby as we extended things into a long weekend for some friends and ourselves. Stumbled onto these cottages and were delighted. VERY clean, VERY well equipped and comfortable and cosy. Lots of space. Amazing position by the Dolgoch falls gorge with some very pleasant walks and access to the Talyllyn railway station. Good pubs and other eating establishments in easy reach. Incredible value for money.

Charming country house set in a beautiful valley

Reviewed By Gary027

Thirteen of us stayed here for a week over Easter for my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary. Young and old thoroughly enjoyed the stay and everything the home and surrounding area had to offer. It was great to cook and all eat together in the large dining room, which accommodates 14 people, then relax in the sitting room in front of the open fire. It was good to have something for the teenagers to do in the games room, with table tennis and football and a TV. The history of the house is very interesting and we even visited a nearby church to see where the owner’s ancestors are buried. There is plenty to do in the area. We visited Barmouth, taking the train at Fairbourne and then the weirdest ferry we have ever taken across to Barmouth. We went for walks, runs and visited Aberdovy. I can also recommend the Talyllyn railway at Tywyn. An amazing place in an amazing area, which we intend to return to next year.

Very nice place at the heart of the town.

Reviewed By Purple H

We spent three nights at this lovely place . We were advised on more than one occasion via email of the accommodation and how we would collect our keys dependant on our arrival time . Our room was number one which was a room with a large window overlooking the church across the road . It has its own private bathroom with a shower and bath just across the stairs from the room . The room was clean , tea and coffee making facilities and a TV the right size for the room . Nice comfortable bed with a quiet night for a good sleep . It may appear to be on the main road through the town but its quiet until around 08:00 , its a bit of a road to nowhere as its so of the beaten track there . The location is perfect for the town . Its a one minute walk to a lovely cinema across the road , ten minute walk to the very quiet sea front . There are plenty of places to eat along with takeaways and a Spar , Coop and post office convenience store to buy from . Great places just around the corner for breakfasts although we used the kitchen for toast , cereals and yoghurt as we had brought these with us .
