Great host and introduction to a Japanese guest house.
Reviewed By WelshLady1979This was a good introduction to staying at someone's house in Japanese. Everything was quite relaxed and well organised. Most impressive of all was the host, though. He spoke more English than most hotel receptionists do in Japan, he had maps and directions to lots of places nearby and he had written out a little phrase book for anything you might not understand. Staying at a place like this can seem quite intimidating if you are not familiar with how they work, but you don't need to worry as everything was clear and easy. He even put out our futon for us when we nipped out for tea. The rooms were spotlessly clean, big (for Japan), and air conditioned. Each room also had a terrace and the grounds around the house are lovely. The shared shower and washing facilities were also good. If you do stay here, make sure you visit the quite amazing coast road up towards Miyazaki from the south. The only thing to watch out for is the fact that it is potentially quite hard to find as there is no sign outside the guesthouse and it is situated in a none too obvious location. There are also no shops or restaurants in walking distance.

ビジホとしてはパーフェクトかも
Reviewed By chibit-ch志布志駅徒歩数分。最近できたらしいビジホ。見た目からしてもう、工事関係者専門みたいな宿。 新しいだけに設備はしっかりしていて、自動チェックイン/チェックアウト機が備えつけられているし、鍵はカードキーだ。 裏にスーパーもあるので買い物も便利。 朝食はビュッフェ方式。かなり品数が多く、全部はとれなかった。 朝食を終えて部屋に戻ると、ちょうど港から朝日が登っていた。 ここ、けっこういい宿だと思う。 新しいのできれいだし、工事関係者が多いので夜間は静か。朝食内容も充実。 全館禁煙だが、各階に喫煙所があるので喫煙者にも非喫煙者にも便利。

普通の民宿です
Reviewed By haruneko1205一軒家の部屋をそれぞれで使う感じのお宿です。外から鍵はかけられないので貴重品などは部屋に置くことはできません。部屋はきれいです。トイレ、風呂、洗面台は共同なので貸しきりでない限りは譲り合って使用する感じです。ごみを持ち帰らないといけない感じが少し大変かな？リセッシュがおいてあったのはありがたかったです。
