The Hotel Bella Tola & SPA in St-Luc in the Val d'Anniviers is an impressive, long white house with several floors, reminiscent of the way they used to build in alpine regions in the old days. Inside the house, the original decoration and antiques of the 31 rooms and the salons have been preserved and everything reflects elegant, late 19th-century “art de vivre”. Award of “Historical Hotel of the year 2001”. SPA, wellness center of 200 sqm with indoor pool, sauna, steambath and massage rooms. Bar/lounge, restaurant, sunny garden facing the 4000 m peaks. Safe in each room. Free WIFI in the whole hotel. Free parking is available on site. There are a number of attractions in the local area, including St-Luc-Chandolin Ski Resort, Grimentz Ski Resort and Zinal Ski Resort.
Great service, super location. Especially beautifully decorated in a small Alpine town with plenty of trails to explore (you can take a bus free with hotel stay then you can take chair lifts up to start so many hikes). Rooms are beautiful. Spa massages available. Food exquisite although vegetarian options scant.

Hotel in chalet style opened in 1933, in the centre of the old village of St-Luc. 15 double rooms. All rooms southside have a fantastic view on the mountains (Matterhorn, Obergabelhorn, Besso...) and balcony or large terrace. Nice typical mountain restaurant serving traditional dishes from the area.
Although the rooms are small, they are tastefully decorated. We had a room with access to the deck and the beautiful view. Dinner was very good, breakfast was OK. Friendly and efficient service. We will go back.

Fabulous views, helpful staff and good food but the overnight rate is far too high. We stay in many Swiss Mountain Cabanes and the Weisshorn Hotel is much more of a cabane than a top hotel. eg Lavatories and washing facilities at the end of the corridor plus rudimentary small bed rooms . This is not reflected in the overnight rate. However, the views and location is second to none.

Set at 1,652 m above sea level, Hotel le Beausite is located in the traditional mountain village of Saint-Luc in the Anniviers Valley. It offers a breakfast buffet, free WiFi, and free private parking. The soundproof rooms provide a balcony, cable TV, and a private bathroom. Some rooms have a balcony and overlook the Matterhorn or the valley.Guests of the Beausite can enjoy panoramic views over the entire valley from the glass-fronted lounge. Upon prior arrangement, guests can enjoy a private wellness area of 90 m2, featuring a sauna, a hammam, various showers, a mini fitness room with a treadmill, and an indoor and outdoor relax area.
Everything was much nicer than my expectations and I think that most of all this was thanks to the very welcoming owners and staff. It felt like we were in a bnb as they were attentive to us, took time to ask about our days over dinner and gave hiking tips. The room was lovely, practical and thanks to the high beds we were able to store our dog's things easily out of our way (dogs are accepted! But we avoided to take ours through reception or restaurant). Do book a room with Southern view and balcony, sunshine & 4000m mountains are worth it! Dinners were amazingly good, though I was never hungry enough to go for the entire 4 course-menus. Buffet breakfast was fresh and had everything I wished for-even more. The private spa (don't forget to book!) was perfect too: hammam, sauna, different showers, relaxing area with tea, mini-fitness... and it's even more relaxing since it's private and don't have to worry about other customers showing their private parts too close for me, like I've experienced elsewhere. The hotel is located quite low in the village, but there are free shuttles going around to the funicular for example (though we hiked up each time).

From what we saw on their website, this place really did not live up to expectation. The bedroom accommodation was poor, with the double bed pushed up against two walls. The general decor was 'sad' and needed updating - the bedroom curtain was hung precariously on a cane across two hooks. The over-bath shower was held together with gaffer tape and had to be hand-held. The bedroom was not serviced at all during our three night stay and was not very clean. People dining/drinking on the terrace in the late evening made a lot of noise and kept us awake until well past midnight! Breakfast was also rather poor, although the coffee was very good and there was a good range of teas. Home-made jams delicious. However, the cheese and ham provided was only basic. Dinner in the evening was OK - the wine list is unbelievably extensive - the owner's passion, we believe! None of the staff stayed on the property overnight, so we were locked out of the restaurant until someone came on duty - we found it strange to have to wait outside the front door before we could be let in!! The staff were generally very friendly. The exterior of the property was generally very untidy and uncared for. Llamas were free to roam over the whole property including the terrace where people ate and drank. We therefore felt this was a very expensive place to stay, given the very basic level of facilities. The property is quite a long walk from the centre of the village.

We like to visit the Cabane and enjoyed our stay ver much! Great beers, splendid view, wonderful hospitality and huge view on the snowy mountains. Agreat place go rest during a hike or bike tour! The people were very friendly, thank you so much

Les prix sont abominable, je n’ai vu un redbull à 5.50. La nourriture était mauvaise et mal cuite. Malgré tout, les lits étaient agréables, les toilettes plus ou moins propres, et le personnel était aussi assez sympathique.
