Auberge Edelweiss, a favorite with bon-vivant skiers and cyclists, is a privately owned centuries old coaching inn. The hotel is comfortable and cozy, with wood paneling and log fire. We have a well equipped ski and bike workshop, spa area with sauna and free Wi-Fi access. The restaurant offers delicious dinners and a big selection of wines. Panoramic terrace.
Robin and Marlon are consummate hosts with a wonderful staff to help them out. The food and menu are 5 star Michelin worthy. Comfortable and cozy rooms and beds with skylight views of the Alps. Nice after ski adventure lounge and sitting area with a wood stove to warm you. Large sauna that will make you sweat. Great location for exploring La Grave and the surrounding area. Easy walk to the cable car for the ride up the mountain.

We stayed in Summer 2019 and then rode Alpe de Huez. It was a very friendly environment with a great restaurant for dinner (Fondue was delicious) and breakfast. The room was mostly timber and comfortable. A nice feel and atmosphere. The views from the front courtyard are amazing with a cable car station across the road. A lovely experience.

A unique Hotel realised in a pedestrian village of 17 chalets.1 main chalet-Reception with indoor car-park, swimming pools, Hottub & Sauna, Bar, Fire-place to enjoy a drink.Several lanes made with wood to reach a chalet with 2 independant bedrooms uspstairs & 1 suite 40-45 m² ground-floor with sundeck.Amazing Panoramic view over Glaciers all year long. Free WIFI everywhere, Led TV with foreign channels.
The accomodation is good and clean. The rooms or small houses are cosy. But the service , reception can be much better. (The older lady is not always that friendly). It seems they offer services to be able to put it in the advertisement but it is not allowed to use them. For instance our children from 14-16 were not allowed to use the billiard during the day and they always had to stop. But in the evenings they are also closed very early. It is also strange that they do not offer restaurant service in summer. La Grave does not have a lot of restaurants and after a day full of action, you do not always want to take the car to find a good restaurant. A small fridge in the rooms can be an extra nice to have, in order to put some drinks or cheese cold. Overall we had a good vacation but i would not recommend this place when you have teenagers.
