Reviewed By Saul SA lot of hotels give lip service to environmental issues, going green by not cleaning towels daily. Tru goes beyond that with recycling trash cans and squeeze bottles in the bathroom. Very comfortable rooms and well thought out. Not big, but big enough. No in-room coffeemaker, but coffee available in lobby. Water refilling station.Pleasantly surprised on our first visit. A new favorite. Only downside was freeway noise, but it didn’t impact sleep.

Reviewed By truckingrzThere is a strip mall with variety of fast food restaurants, Kroger grocery store and a movie theater next door playing all the hot movies. The rooms are always clean and comfortable and I love how comfortable the beds are and the great selection on cable TV.

I worked in Facilities Maintenance as a Property Manager my entire life and this facility needs a major overhaul. The wall paper in the lobby down by the elevator is peeling due to a moisture issue, you can actually smell it. The elevator has a bigger problem in the hydraulics upon reaching the 3rd floor it will shake due to this issue. The elevator door was filthy as well as the interior cab. The floor was nasty. The room I was in the filters in the Amana wall unit were filthy, USB ports non working, Small room refrigerator non working, The secondary blinds in the room were non functional. Whomever is the Manager needs to get a team in there and go room to room and correct all discrepancies found, I'm sure my room isn't the only one.

Door latch fails to completely retract, so you have to force door open after using key. Hotel staff very friendly. Will return.

When I checked in the front desk person was unwilling to find my membership number. Breakfast was not up to par and also the cleanliness. I would not stay at this Holiday Inn Express again. Disappointed!

Short Dayton Trip
Reviewed By anthonyrY2956TRWe stayed here with family for a graduation at the University of Dayton. We decided to stay a few extra nights to make it a short vacation. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was a plus. The food was good and staff kept it well supplied and clean. I enjoyed using the fitness center because they had a great selection of dumbbells to use. Most hotels do not have the number of dumbbells or the heavier weights that this one had. Its convenience to travel to downtown Dayton, but also lots of restaurants nearby to the hotel. Definitely would stay here again.

Reviewed By E9118ROtheresahFirst room we were put in had a serious ant problem. They were everywhere. Even transferred some of them when we moved to another room. The second room we were put in had fecal matter running down the side of the toilet. Not a clean place by any stretch of the imagination. It was late, dark, rainy so we stayed out of exhaustion. Never again.
