Excellent!!! Friendly!!! The owners went out of their way to accommodate all our needs. They even phoned when they were worried about the whereabouts of our group, that went to see the Fish river canyon sunset. Extremely caring of them. The best stay on your way to the Kalahari!!

Vastrap Guest Farm is situated in the fat Southern part of Namibia and is a perfect halfway stopover We offer self-catering, en-suite, as well as family rooms. We serve dinner and breakfast.
This is a wonderful place to stay - and much more than a stopover driving from South Africa. We were given a great welcome, the rooms are lovely, and dinner (booked ahead) was great. There's lots of space to go walking - stay a couple of days and explore the area

Had the pleasure of stopping here during our Namibian road trip as two couples. The welcome was warm and friendly and the rooms very clean. Wifi was a bonus at the pool area and the hospitality bar to unwind and relax after the stressful journey over the border. The highlights were the wonderful dog (Aura) who walked everywhere with us and the amazing dinner made by the farm ladies. It was wholesome and plentiful and very tasty. Actually, on our two-week trip, I would say the best meal of all - and we ate at some fancy places - but homecooked down-to-earth food is the best. Thank you Erich and your team for making us feel so welcome and relaxed.

We originally booked for camping at Goibib but as we needed to get a very early start to get across the border we decided to rather stay in the available rooms. We were very impressed by the friendliness of the staff and enjoyed our stay in the clean and comfortable rooms. I would really recommend Goibib as a stay over, especially when travelling toward the SA border as it is only 2 hours away. PS: The camping facilities are also very neat and we would have loved to camp there.

The receptionist was most helpful on my arrival. I messed up my on-line booking date, and she fixed it all in a flash. I was on my way to the Nakop border post having been on a motorcycle trip through Namibia. Supper needed advance notice because the meat is frozen, and breakfast was extra - two important aspects for bikers. If you want to run a "hotel" as opposed to self-catering, I would suggest you lift the meal side of your game. Other than that, the room was clean and quiet - perfect stopover rest.

We travelled in a group. My partner and i got a fully equiped family room with kitchen and sitting area. We only slept here, hadn't much time. The restaurant is under construction, so we went out for dinner. Sunset and sunrise were beautiful here

Good day. Thank you once again for a lovely stay at your accommodation. We enjoyed it very much. The Guest house is just far away enough from the B1 in order for us to enjoy the silence of the farm atmosphere. The food was exceptional, so was the friendliness and service. I will certainly stay there again. Please do what you do as it is a success. Regards
