Reviewed By jennyi96An absolutely wonderful stay at a Lodge on the Okavango River run by a wonderful family. The staff are incredibly helpful, the service is excellent and the food was wonderful (large portions so beware). Definitely would like to return for a longer stay

A room with a view
Reviewed By barwillyOur glam tent accommodation with terrific bathroom was a treat. My daughter had a tummy bug and Ralph the owner quickly got us to our room and she was in bed soon after arrival. Our river safaris here were wonderful with an abundance of wildlife. Lots of splashing in the river overnight so I suspect the hippos were coming ashore. I wasn’t getting out of bed to check! The deck over the river was a great place to relax.

Chris and his team were wonderful. Its a must do in the Dlvundu area. Thank you and we will definitely be back for another visit!

Lovely little place
Reviewed By MrsH28A lovely place run by Alexander, George, Maya, and Helmut the sausage dog, we did the camping, sites were nice and big some shady, they have a island bar which opens at 6, to access to bar one needs to cross a swing, sadly they only serve alcohol, no food, so come prepared. Helmund the sausage dog will look after you all he wants is a bit of vleis, really had a lovely stay there

The Camping and future Lodge are located on the banks of the Okavango River, surrounded by magnificent trees and shrubs. The campsites are suitable for big/small tents as well as cars with roof tents, campers, caravans and Overlanders.

Reviewed By Joris KWhite Sands camping is an excellent destination when travelling through NE Namibia; with access to Bwabwata and Mahango parks, and the Kavango River/Popa Falls teeming with wildlife and all the “Okavango Specials” - birds and mammals restricted to the swamps and associated riverine vegetation - you really don’t need to visit Botswana’s Okavango Swamps, Customs and Medical officials ?. the campsites are very close to the Popa Falls, and the white noise of water rushing over the falls can dampen other ambient sounds during the flood season, but the campsites are clean, beautifully appointed with shelter, plenty of space to prepare food, electricity to grind your coffee beans and keep your fridge running, a delightful deck over the reeds, and hot water by way of a donkey!

Great camp - go for the luxury units if possible!
Reviewed By A_E771We recently stayed at the popa falls resort on our visit to the bwabwata np. The camp is really nice, we were lucky to get the elephant room (which is one of the four luxury units) and it was in our opinion the best with the terrace directly facing the okavango. We watched hippos and crocodiles directly from the comfy deckchairs. The restaurant is often critiqued but apart from one lunch (we stayed for 3 nights), the food was good and the staff helpful and friendly. I would also recommend doing a drive to the buffalo core area - we had great sightings there.

Reviewed By S8566GQluisamIf you don’t fancy big hotels or luxurious lodges but prefer the cosy environment of a guest house set in a beautiful environment, definitely this is your place. Very clean detached units or bungalows near the river banks, equipped with basic furniture, hide unexpected facilities which go from air conditioning to a tv-set with a huge choice of international channels. A special mention needs to be reserved to the delicious food served here and the kindness of the owners and the staff. All that at a very affordable price!
