This hotel doesn’t even deserve 1 star. My husband was staying here because his company provided this hotel because it was near his job sight. My husband has stayed in many hotels around the world and have never been treated the way this hotel treated him . Let me just tell you his awful experience first of becareful with Dustin the front desk. He is absolutely the rudest front desk clerk we have ever encountered. I hate to say it but to me his attitude was only towards dark skin guest. He had my husband wait for 2 hours after 3pm check in time and was giving rooms out to other checking in guest claiming his room wasn’t ready. But not only that he made complaints to the company witch they even new it was odd because it’s not the 1st time he stays in a hotel and not have once in the 20 years a hotel employee has called to make a complaint about him. I can just go on about his horrible stay. Over all it was a terrible costumer service experience. We are just so relieved the company moved him a another hotel where they treat all guest equally. Our experience with best western hotels have never been unpleasant until we came across this one.

The location was perfect. Staff was very helpful and nice. Our dog was welcome and would highly recommend for anyone traveling with a pet. The room was great we had a kitchen and living room where we could cook and play cards. The breakfast was great with fresh fruit and pastries. Great service.

Hotel was very stylish, clean and comfortable. We were there for one night. There is secured, gated, underground parking (well lit with windows) that was a plus. Getting out of the garage can be a bit of a challenge with traffic, but drivers were generally polite and waved us in. It was a great base to various Santa Cruz activities.

Stayed 1 night during road trip. Rooms were comfy and clean. Was in room 104, ground floor close to the vending machines. No issues. Slept well. A/c worked great and staff was friendly. For the price and quality it was comfortable for what it was. Had a car and drove around rather than walked but everything was so closeby. The beach, Trader Joe’s and target were all 5 min. away and 20 min. from nearby redwood park. Would recommend. Breakfast was very bare but had the Activia yogurt and some packaged baked goods.

A charming boutique hotel in the heart of Capitola Village. Steps to the beach, restaurants, wine tasting and shopping. Beautifully appointed rooms with private bathrooms, high quality linens, complimentary gourmet coffee. Free high speed internet, refrigerators, television, microwave. Free village parking.
Perfect location for a small team regroup. We booked out the hotel (all 10 rooms). Everyone was thrilled about the experience as it was intimate, right on the beach and very accessible from SFO. Julie was fantastic and saw to our every need. We had workshops in the lobby and then walked to the great restaurants (Shadowbrook & Trestles) in the area. We also had lunch ordered from Reef Dog Deli and Julie was kind enough to go pick it up. All in all a stellar experience and one that I hope to repeat soon.

My husband and I stayed here for his birthday weekend and loved every minute of it! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We loved how everything was so close and we walked everywhere… didn’t even know there were stairways that would take you right into the center of town and to the beach. The room was spacious and super comfortable with a lovely balcony. Loved sitting out by the fountain with a glass of wine in the afternoon. Started each morning with the delicious and varied breakfasts. The perfect get away! ❤️

Such a cute hotel and right on the beach!!! It was great!!! If I had to try to find something negative to say, I guess I'd have to say that the bedroom is loud from the road noise. Other than that, we loved our stay!!! Thank you!!!
