Our rooms are named after an African country and are decorated with artifacts from that country. We plan to develop a full African menu for our guests.
We have spend only one night at Ashram Africa Hotel, but we really enjoyed this place. Waking up in a comfy bed and a great view over lake Bishoftu. The restaurants serves good local and international dishes. Also, as we had some trouble during a short hike, the staff was amazingly helpful.

Our resort branch offers high-end luxury in exceptionally cultural settings. With achingly perfect panoramas, Kuriftu is where luxury reaches its pinnacle and service is simultaneously warm, genuine and sensational. After taking in the natural beauty of the wildlife and countryside, our organic spa and gourmet restaurants are the perfect places to relax as you prepare to continue your getaway experience. Conncted with our Kuriftu resort &spa Bishoftu is found Kuriftu Water Park. The Kuriftu Water Park is East Africa’s Largest Water Park and Ethiopia’s first. Boasting over 30,000 square meters of fun while featuring a wide range of activities, such as: • Small Water House • Medium Water House • Fikat Circus • Slides • Boomerang Slide • Wave Pool • Food Court • Gift Shop
Kuriftu's quality degraded from time to time. Starting from reception, food, and spa, a very poor quality. They need to work onit. Otherwise, the name will only remain as it is, not the quality. Don't eat any fish related products.

Nice place with an amazing view over a clear volcanic, round lake in which you can swim or make a tour with the kayak. Climate of 26 degrees the whole year like in spring in the south of California or France. Run by a Belgium guy and an Ethiopian lady. We serve fresh fish and vegetables from the surrounding farms. Day trips and tours possible with our Flamingos Tours Company.
While my wife and I , recently got married. We decided to stay at the Babogaya Lake Viewpoint Lodge. The atmosphere and compound was beautiful and the staff were very professional and friendly. We were able to get some of our wedding pictures done there, and also had a lot of fun by fishing and birding just within the compound of the Lodge. Perfect and peaceful area. Thank you again for the wonderful stay.

Resorts nearby put off locals and foreigners, to start with, by asking for an entry ticket. Sometimes, around 500 birr. This has never happened at this resort. For that much here, two can eat to full abundance!\IMpeccable service, quiet, no loudspeakers putting everyone off. A very good resort at a moderate price. If you go through the menu you will find the price lists of an average resturant in Addis, and, consider the location. A prime place, a real bargain.

When we arrive at the restaurant a Waiter led us to our seat and he kindly explained that there is only buffet and from the menu would take the whole day. when we are ready to get our lunch from the buffet, we were asked to show a reciept of payment that we didn't know we had to pay at the entrance. the person who was responsible for that at the front door,as we understand it later, is a multy tasker and she helps somewhere in the restaurant. The food was not good either but if you are hungry it is eatable. The horror came later when we asked to pay, they accept only cash!!!! they said there is ATM outside and it is working to check only the balance , the corresponding buttons to withdraw money were not functioning. Finally we were taken to different building where the resort receptionist is located. And the staff tried their best to process our payment and they told us there is a network problem, but half an hour ago we dropped off our kids in kuriftu water park and the payment went through in a second. The problem was they dedicate the restaurant to CBE bank. They are not working with the other POSS processing banks like the other normal restaurant would do in area. I will never plan to go there without cash or maybe never.
