Stayed here on Friday, as I was getting married here on the Saturday in the Garden Room and what a lovely room it was with beautiful decor and plenty of light. I stayed here with my best man, I booked for the restaurant on Friday evening and the food was amazing, first time I tried risotto and loved it, the room we stayed in was beautiful, loved the touch of the complimentary fruit, and the fridge to chill some beer. Breakfast was perfect, not too much, it was just right, we used the swimming pool perfect before your big day! The Garden room was set up beautifully and the member of staff who did the set up, sorry I can't remember her name, was very accommodating, after the ceremony my wife and I loved the touch of the glass of prosecco given to us, I needed it.....thank you. Overall all staff we encountered were lovely, very helpful, nothing was too much trouble, I loved the relaxed atmosphere, I worked in a hotel for 15 year's, I worked in the wrong hotel! We will be back and I'm booking this next year for are first wedding anniversary. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

We returned on our 8th anniversary to the place we were married. It was magnificent back then and equally magnificent this time. We had the same room with the wonderful views and enjoyed one of the best Tasting Menu and Wine Flight combinations we have had. The food and service were outstanding and the explanation of the wine and dish combinations was excellent. Worth every penny! Well done to Sarah and her team.

Used this hotel as a pit stop between Lancaster and Cornwall after a day at Alton Towers We didn’t expect much as it was somewhere to lay our heads close to the motorway. We checked in at the Aztec Spa having read previous reviews (thanks for that btw!) as we weren’t informed that the Lodge is unmanned by the hotel themselves. We booked room only but I did ask about breakfast. Cooked breakfasts would be available in the Aztec should we require them £19.95 per adult and an unknown cost for a child….? We politely declined knowing we’d be up early (and we’d stop in the Asda cafe 2 minutes around the corner) Room was lovely and clean Shower was powerful Bed and pillows both really comfortable Nice touch was the cafetière coffee

Went to the hotel for 1 night and by the time I had got to the hotel the price of the room had changed, when I asked the staff about this as I was quoted a much lower price on the phone the staff were rude and confrontational. The room was to a good standard but because of the price change and the staff I will not be retuning.

Absolutely superb experience at this little gem of a place with excellent breakfast and superb evening meal. The room was spotlessly clean and the Staff were extremely attentive. I suppose the only draw back was the registration of the car on the car park for guests staying overnight but that’s not really an issue . We had a great stay. Many thanks

I often visit The Swan for drinks and meals and it never fails to disappoint. The staff are all lovely and the food is very good. Had the recent Valentine’s menu there last Saturday and the quality of the meal was exceptional.
