the historical museum was founded back on November 30, 1956. originally, it was launched as the aspiration of a group of people with the desire to capture the history of the colonization of the region. the museum began as the initiative in the Evening School No 21 ¨Libertador General San Martin¨, being Mrs. Adelina Bianchi De Terragni its Headmistress. it evolved from donations made by families connected with the origin and the progress of the colony.a year later, the founders offered their initiative to the municipality, considering that it must be its custody as a logical result of the community involvement in the new entity. it was gratefully accepted and formalized on October 24, 1957. as a result, the museum was moved to a municipal building at 555 San Martin St, having the advice of a consulting group of teachers and city neighbors. In October 1994, following a period of further organizing, the museum was transferred to its present location at Santa Fe Ave and 9 De Julio St.At this museum, there are actually two museums into one.One is for Photography and the other is for Paintings.
