I had a tour scheduled I had to cancel due to the virus. Michael was always quick to reply and give me the credit right away. This is quite meaningful when dealing with tour operators we don't meet when booking. I would book with him again for sure.

Hebron, or as it's known in Arabic, Al-Khalil, is the largest city in the West Bank and the second largest city in the Palestinian Territories. Located 30km south of Jerusalem, it's an industrial hub which generates approximately one third of the West Bank's GDP. Home of the Ibrahimi Mosque/Cave of the Machpelah—the burial site of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs of the Abrahamic religions: Abraham and Sarah, Isaac and Rebecca, and Jacob and Leah—Hebron is of great religious significance for Muslims, Jews, and Christians alike. The Old Town of Hebron in 2017 was declared a cultural Palestinian World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Whether you're interested in the rich history of this holy city, the souq or traditional products of glass, ceramics , embroidery, desserts or you're here to try the famous Hebron grapes, the walking tour of the city has something for everyone!

We took a private day tour and met Michael at the Checkpoint. He was there before the tour time and we got into his very comfortable car and began right away. It was instrumental to have a guide in Palestine, as some of the sites here are extremely crowded and chaotic, it really helps to have someone telling you when to go where. More importantly, it was great to have a native Palestinian giving us context to everything we're seeing, including the political and humanitarian situation in the West Bank, and what it really means for people living there. We really felt that had we attempted to go visit the sites on our own without the chance to speak with a local, it would have been a wasted opportunity.
