This is a well cared for nature reserve. Ideal for everyone and their pet dog(s) for a half hour walk. There's seating areas and little 'stop off' stations of interest with educational information for children and adults alike. All for Free! As the site is flat, they've designed the reserve, using recycled plastics, to make the wetland area accessible with raised boardwalks. This is also perfect for anyone with a wheelchair or children's buggy to spend quality time alongside nature, just off the main A66, beside the old coaching inn; The Pheasant Inn frequented by William Wordsworth etc... Silver Meadows is one or our favourite places to visit with our pet collie.
