This is the New City Hall , where people go to when they need help with requirements like their Birth Certificate and also if they are looking for information about the City of Bacolod . This is where your taxes go, you can see how beautiful our Building is , a reflection of how successful the City of Bacolod has been for a long period of time under the governance of our beloved mayor Bing Leonardia .

As of this moment I am sad because this beautiful façade is not very crowded like before . People use to jog , dance zumba and play in the said facility but not now. We were given the chance to stay at Seda which is an overlooking place from Capitol Lagoon, I wish to jog again and dance to Zumba while kids can play in the clean playground and some family can have their picnic when it is free to do so . Hpping for a better one .

From historical viewpoint this beautiful architecture was designed by the late famous Architect J.M. Arellano whose works include such iconic buildings as Manila’s Metropolitan Theatre, the National Museum of the Philippines and the Manila Central Post Office Building. This building is patterned after the U.S. Capitol and standing where Osmeña Boulevard and kilometer zero start. It can be seen from the Osmena Avenue after the Fuente Osmena circle. Prominent from afar in the gleaming white building which is the pride of the Cebuanos. This building was inaugurated June 14, 1938 by M.L. Quezon, the Philippine Commonwealth President. We were only up to the garden, the frontage because it was office hours.
