Brisbane's most famous landmark features the circular Concert Hall, a world-famous grand piano organ and a majestic view from the clock tower.
Nice old style building, which includes the Museum of Brisbane, well worth a look at with a beautiful Main Hall.

Brisbane Open House weekend was cold and wet but that didn't put us off going to our booked tour of Government House. The building is grand but also understated in a way that makes it feel very warm and intimate. The Governor himself greeted each tour group, which was nice. Our guide explained the history of the building and it's various inhabitants and also of many of the objects, furnishings and features in the rooms. We were allowed to take any pictures we wanted to and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I would recommend a tour for anyone interested in Brisbane and its history. Allow plenty of time to get there. There's no public transport to the door and parking is very limited. We parked in the city and got an Uber to the building, which worked well as he dropped us right at the gate.

Located on the corner of George and Alice Street in Brisbane, Parliament House is Queensland's premier heritage building and one of Brisbane's best-known landmarks. Queensland Parliament now has various events and dining opportunities open to the public. Public Access is temporarily suspended in accordance with the Parliamentary Service COVID-19 response plan.
The guided tours are free and run for approximately 30 minutes starting at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm. The guide was very helpful and knowledgeable, able to answer questions not only sticking to a script as is often the case. Well worth visiting and almost adjacent to the Governor's House, which is also free entry and the City Botanical Gardens.

Our accommodation was directly next-door to the General Post Office, the old solid designed building is beautiful & really stands out along Queen Street & opposite Post Office Square. A very modern updated interior inside the post office. A relaxing small park area to relax opposite this beautiful old building.
