This is the second of the three Disney courses I played. I played at Lake Buena Vista (LB) two weeks ago. I will play at the Palms in two weeks. Similar to LB, the fairways are much wider than your typical course. There are a few tight holes. It was a beautiful day. I played decent. The rough is ROUGH. You’ll probably lose your ball if it goes into the rough. For the most part, the ball didn’t run that much. LB is 6745 yards while this one is 7560. Yet, LB felt longer. It was a great day. The course is a bit challenging. Everyone in my group pretty much played to our handicap.

Experience the natural beauty of the Florida woodlands at Disney's Palm Golf Course. This majestic course is both a pleasure to play, as well as an exciting test of skill. Golfers will appreciate the course design, which features shimmering lakes and tropical sands, all across a golf landscape that's dotted with strategically placed palm trees.

Really enjoyed playing this course for the second time. Challenging with elevated greens, well placed sand traps and water. There are signs at each tee box with facts about the hole played by the pro’s. Disney courses alway are well manicured and this one is no exception. They now have markers as you come up to the tees that blink green, yellow or red to let you know if you are on pace. We had no problem even though we caught up to the group ahead a couple of times. Your cart can be monitored from the pro shop and they can send you a message to your cart if you’re behind. We had a fun time playing this course.

After being stuck inside for months foot golf (kick soccer ball into big hole) was a great way to get out of the house and be active. We called and made reservations and was given a time. There is free parking and we paid for the tickets inside. Restrooms located in the front next to the gift shop. We had a CM teach us how to play and he told us all the rules. We saw lots of wild turkeys, birds and squirrels while playing. Bring your own water bottles as it’s hot! It was a lot of fun and we will go again soon.

Even though strict health directives are in place from Disney (not Florida), the golf experience was excellent. The staff always wore facial coverings and maintained distance. And, as is always the case with Disney, the staff were very professional and courteous. Tee time reservations were right on time and everyone was understanding pace of play and social distance requirements. The course was in good shape, even though aeration had occurred some weeks prior. Weekday rates are very reasonable and include a cart. It's a fun course and challenging, but not impossible. Items in the pro shop (shirts, souvenirs) are only available in the pro shop and not online. Shuttle service from Disney resorts is provided via taxi (Mears Transportation). Guests will receive a voucher for the taxi which includes tip. Overall a fun round of golf.
