On our 4 week USA road trip we stopped by in Zillah to sample red wines at Cultura. We were greeted by both Sarah and Tad Fewel who run and own Cultura. Both very passionate about their wines. Sampled six wines and brought three home to UK. Would have brought a case but transport a bit tricky. Small friendly up and coming winery. Don't tell everyone about it or there will be no wine left for me.

You can visit any day, but the building is only open Saturdays from 10 to 4. Fun souvenirs are available as well as postcards (for those who still know what those are). A reminder that government scandals can happen in any administration.

Owner was very friendly and it was clear he loved making wine and telling others about his craft. Small winery but each wine was very good and was made with loving care. Nice view of the countyside. Made us feel very welcome and that his wine was a way to share in that.

VanArnam Vineyards

Welcome to VanArnam Vineyards. We focus on making the highest quality wines. Our size allows us to be hands-on every step of the way from nurturing our vineyards, picking the grapes at harvest and through all the wine making in the winery. We are located in Zillah which is in the Yakima Valley of Washington - the leading wine region in Washington State. Our vineyards grow on a southern slope of perfect soils for premium wine grapes. The winery rests on the top of a hill overlooking the vineyard and the Yakima Valley with views of both Mt Adams and Mt Rainer. We think our grapes like the views as much as we do.

First stop on our wine tour via horse and carriage on Yakima Valley Carriage Company. Lovely location and views of the area. Very attentive staff. Nice big area for spreading out and for sitting outside. River the black lab was friendly and was trying to eat the grapes off the vines. Loved their rose'

We visited this winery in November. Good service, wine, and food! Indoor and outside tasting areas. Wood fire oven for delicious eats! We enjoyed this winery until dark. Played cornhole, sat by outdoor fire pit, and enjoyed the wine, conversation and atmosphere. Good for small or large groups. Plenty of well thought out space for picnics, families or events. We will be back!
