Not a very big beach but it's one of the cleanest and well kept in the location. The water is almost always a little cold and you can see the sea bed with ease. There are no eateries close by so carry your own food. Lots of games happening all around till late in the evening. Definitely worth a visit in this lovely little town.

Besides the historical side of this square, you get a wonderful view to the beach of Vasco da Gama! And what an excellent beach! Sines was a pleasant surprise. I was waiting for an industrial city and what I found was exactly the opposite! A beautiful city, full of history but, at the same time, modern, with beautiful areas to visit, to stay, to eat, to enjoy the wonderful weather...
