After 4 years in which I could not be on the beach due to government regulations, I now return to the beach with my sales car and a small but fine kitchen. My new location is right on the sea 400 meters from Evason and Sheraton on the beach road in the direction of the village Paknampran.

We took a local taxi here. Entry is free. The boardwalk around the mangroves is wonderful. There are a lot of information points, but only a few in English. Half way round you can take a boat trip for a fixed price for the boat. The boat trip took us through the mangroves, we saw birds, lizards, egrets, and butterflies. From the swamps we entered he river and went through the fishing village, through the boats, then back through the mangroves to the jetty. A bit more walking on the boardwalk and back to our taxi. Well worth a visit. Allow about 2 hours.

We stayed for a few weeks with teenage daughter and her boyfriend. We stayed at chill villas for a few nights, defiantly recommend s as is other places. We enjoyed street food and the beach, was worth a ride up the coast a few km for Khao lak brach as well and more things to do. Lots of good kitesurfing schools but karl at beach house bar was the best by far!

We rented a house in Pak Nam Pran, 30kms south of Hua Hin. Sai Noi Beach is, in our opinion much nicer and quieter than Hua Hin with food, drinks and usual facilities with a lovely backdrop.
