I visited the winery with my fiancé to look for wines for our wedding next year. The winery is run by a mother, father and son trio, who have all spent time in Australia and/or America studying oenology. We were greeted by the mother before we even got to the front door! The wine tasting on offer was more than reasonable at 100 baht per person and the process and story of making each wine was explained in great detail. They even offer their wines with your own customised labels for occasions such as weddings and have plenty of examples on display. I'm really glad we made the trip out to Alcidini and would recommend to all.

We were on our way from the Kai Yai National Park up north to Khao Kho when we can across this place. Great spot for a stop and a stroll through the gallery and the garden for an hour, the entry is free of charge. The staff is very friendly and their is also a small shop and a cafe.

A quiet peaceful temple for local prayers; The main temple is at the top of the mountain and needs more than 600 steps of climbing to reach the top of the main mountain temple. The lower ground temple is full with peacock's bird; The birds are not in the center of temple. Its roaming all over the temple vicinity and nearby. There's also a lot of different kinds of chicken species roaming all over the places. You can take photos quite close to the peacocks & very surreal. Therefore, you need to walk around the temple vicinity to find them in high and low resting places all over. The temple will close around 5.30PM;

Good place to mingle, see and indulge in local street foods, ranging from fried foods like corn fritters and chicken to zhi char style foods like pad Thai. Some stalls sell second hand clothing while others appear to be newer. The downside is the difficulty to find parking so you may have to park further and walk towards the market, which is fine since you’ll be eating so much that you’ll need the exercise anyway.

Unexpected find while searching for places to visit in Khao Yai. The shop has a wide selection of snacks (a lot that you can buy as souvenirs back home), fresh corn juice and steaming hot corn cobs. While we went early around 9/10am, the tourist buses starting swarming in after that and queues became quite Long for the corn juice and sweet corn. The prices of food here are quite affordable too

Sorry for the late review! I visited on 10 Dec 2019 with my friends. We found Palio Village to be very interesting place for photo taking with a lot of beautiful photo spots. You just need to find suitable poses for them. Food price is fine, but the merchandise can be pricey so make sure you have enough cash. Toilets are clean and plenty so you don't need to fight to use one BUT it's quite hard to find the toilet as the signage can be a bit confusing, ask around if you need to. Another good thing about Palio Village? No entrance fee at all! Be sure to visit and have fun there ????
