This Catholic Church was built by the stone masons who lived nearby and built much of Valletta. It has an imposing facade sited on Malta's largest urban square. It's dedicated to Publius the Roman Governor who welcomed St Paul and the shipwrecked travellers to winter over and converted to Christianity after seeing miracles healings

With its historical 250-year-old warehouses built by Grand Master Pinto at the height of the Baroque period in Malta, stretching along the water’s edge, the Valletta Waterfront invites you to discover a mix of dining, retail and leisure experiences.
It is very nice and relaxing atmosphere with excellent restaurants with reasonable prices and there is also a good walk by the sea. Enjoying one of the most beautiful ports in the World.

Just off Independence Square, these gardens run lengthwise along the Main busy road and offer the pedestrian a great alternative to pavements. We walked up to the botanical gardens using this route. Lots of seats, well laid out, lovely trees and plants. Statues abound and it really is a delightful walk, or a quiet sit down as you enjoy the gardens. Recommend!
