Cape Canaveral and the neighboring Kennedy Space Center have become synonymous with space travel in the U.S. The first phases of the U.S. space program were conducted at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, now a historic landmark and home to the Air Force Space and Missile Museum, before operations were moved to Kennedy. In addition to its Space Coast reputation, Canaveral also boasts the historic Cape Canaveral Lighthouse, Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and Canaveral National Seashore.

Located in historical Cape Canaveral Florida, Florida Beer Company is Florida's leading craft brewery. A true pioneer in the craft beer industry, Florida Beer Company has been operating in Brevard County Florida since 1997. In 2005 we merged Indian River Brewery of Melbourne, FL, Ybor City Brewing of Tampa, FL, Key West Brewery of Key West and Miami Brewing of Miami FL into what today is Florida Beer Company. In 2013 Florida Beer Company opened our operations in Cape Canaveral at an old Chrysler Space Operations plant. The brewery is minutes away from the all cruise terminals at Port Canaveral and easily accessible by a short bus or taxi ride. Our Visitor Center and Tap Room provides an opportunity to see our brewery in operation. Our beautiful Visitor Center features over 100 feet of plate glass windows giving the visitor a panoramic view of the entire brewery. The brewery features modern craft brewing equipment and technologies openly on display for visitors to view. Florida Beer Company products have been recognized by dozens of prestigious awards from local, national and international competitions. The brewery produces 28 different styles of Ales, Lagers and Ciders. At any give time visitors will find 12 to 14 different products available at the tasting room. Private tours of the plant are available by special arrangement. Plant tours require proper dress - no open toe shoes or high heels, safety glasses must be worn. 16 and older only in plant. We were on vacation in Cocoa Beach when someone mentions there was a brewery in Cape Canaveral. So we went to check it out. It’s tucked away off the main road. The building is huge! Great feel In the place. The staff are very nice. The beer is great and a huge variety. Something for everyone... unless you don’t drink beer. Then your screwed. Hahaha

Went to see manatees but didn't see any. Nice gazebo and nice view of water. Watched birds on the water and waited a rain shower.

Manatee Sanctuary Park boasts over 10 acres of riverfront beauty. Situated on the Banana River, this park has a little something for everyone! 4 Horseshoe Pits 1/2 Mile Paved Fitness Trail 10 Exercise Stations Covered Riverside Boardwalk Picnic Tables & Grills Covered Pavilion with Basic Kitchen (Available for daily Rentals & Private Events) & Even the OCCASIONAL Manatee! Manatee Sanctuary Park is home to the annual Cape Canaveral Founder's Day Festival every March & Space Coast Dragon Boat Festival every April! This park is named Manatee Sanctuary because it borders a section of the Banana River that serves as a protected Manatee habitat. While we cannot guarantee that you will see a manatee during your visit, these beautiful creatures have been known to come and feed off the sea grass along the boardwalk. Manatees enjoy warm waters and typically move to inland springs during the winter months. They are considered an endangered species and fall under highly protective legislation. To learn more about these amazing animals, including where to see them year round, please visit the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission website.
Really nice park with a cool boardwalk overlooking the water. There are exercise stations and a large walking path around the park.

A wonderful establishment that gives back to the community. Thank you for the donations to the raffle basket for the Beachside Little League. Without hesitation, I was given items from the store to add to my raffle basket by a kind and generous man. Also- please stop next door to Cocoa Beach Aerial Adventures, they are also a five star establishment that gives back to the community all while providing a great place for kids and adults to release some energy!

It is hit or miss there as far as seeing wildlife, but certainly worth a look. After all, this is nature, not SeaWorld. We love going to the locks when we visit the Port for lunch or an early dinner. It is a very interesting place even when you don't see much as far as creatures. Just watching the locks open and close is amazing! Probably been there 25 times and have seen, dolphin, manatees, snook, white pelicans, turtles, tons of bait fish with pelicans in hot pursuit and saw a great blue heron catch a snack. Worth a visit! Enjoy!
