This is a well maintained and well marked system of trails. Lovely green covered forest floors with amazing old trees. A really nice way to spend a couple of hours ... close in to Sechelt.

Capilano Salmon Hatchery

Unsuspecting salmon lay their eggs here before they die.

Reviewed By Bradley051 - Sidney, Canada

If you are in Vancouver area in the fall don't forget to come to the Capilano Hatchery and see only a few feet away spawning salmon. With great walking trails all around along the river with some really huge old evergreen trees towering overhead you could ask for a better backdrop...give it a try and enjoy nature.

Coquitlam Crunch Trail

Reviewed By TACowley - Vancouver, Canada

Very well maintained, any attire and shoes is fine. Broken into 4 sections so you can do a little or a lot. About 6,000 steps to the top and back. Mostly stairs, pavement or gravel path. Nothing steep but a good workout if you go at a good clip. Nice view from the top as well.
