You may have all heard that everything is bigger in Texas. Well, Dallas does its best to fulfill that promise. You'll find several museums with vast art collections and fascinating specialty museums like The Sixth Floor Museum/Texas School Book Depository, which, though small in size, offers an immense amount of information about the assassination of John F. Kennedy. And of course, visit a local steakhouse for a terrific (and enormous) meal.

The Dallas Farmers Market has been operating since 1941. The Dallas Farmers Market is The Shed and The Market. The weekly farmers market (Saturday + Sunday) located in The Shed is a great way to find local, seasonal produce and artisanal goods. The 26,000 sf Market (open daily 10AM - 7PM) includes local restaurants and gifts shops. Retail Shops are open as well! https://dallasfarmersmarket.org/
I highly recommend working your way to the Dallas Farmers Market on the weekend, The Shed is an open air market with pop-up vendors of all kinds, from delicious food and fresh juice like Mai Eats, to tasty vegan dishes, even unique snacks like flavored pickles, taro chips and pudding! I enjoy shopping the one of a kind crafts and jewelry shops as well. Trust me, no matter where you stop you can't go wrong, and the customer service is the best part! So happy, and full of energy. I'm told it's the biggest farmers market in Texas! Two thumbs way up!
