Cornwall is the extreme southwestern peninsula of England. It has the longest stretch of continuous coastline in Britain and it is one of the sunniest areas in the UK. With picturesque villages, Celtic ruins, light blue waters, gardens and parks and unique architecture it certainly is among the most scenic areas of England. Home of many events and festivals and the land of Cornish pasty, it is definitely worth visiting.

The white and green striped stalls of Truro Farmers Market are at the grassroots of Cornwall’s culinary scene; come and discover the best produce our county has to offer! Soak up the smells of freshly baked bread and smoked fish, rows of perfect blue duck eggs, preserves in a rainbow of colours and cakes to make your mouth water. A friendly welcome is guaranteed from the traders, some of whom are truly artisan in scale and others who are courted for their produce by the famous chefs of Cornwall and beyond. As well as the weekly markets on a Wednesday and Saturday, Truro Farmers Market also ‘pops up’ in Falmouth on the pedestrianised area known as The Moor every Tuesday.
Great range of local products and always such a friendly buzz around the market. Always toping up my Gin collection from Elemental Cornish Gin and kimchi from Delea Fermented Foods! The range of fresh food is always a challenge to choose between.

Lovely stalls at the weekly Farmers market in St Ives, as always. Treated ourselves to daffodils, fish and Cornish chocolate. Sat down with a delicious coffee and yummy flapjack, before heading out to the beach. Thank you all.

Visited the market last Wednesday, has been massively upgraded since my last trip. found some great bargains, eat my breakfast at the corner cafe which was lovely and reasonably priced, visited flikz games and dvds and the lovely chap did me a great deal on some funko pops for my son then I got myself a cracking new vape from Dan the raindance man next door. All in all a great couple of hours out, I arrived at 9.30 and left at 11.30, seemed to be getting very busy as I left. Will visit again very soon

Lots of local food and crafts on offer, and plenty of local customers which is always a good sign. Delicious "raw" chocolate from Food of the Gods, and fresh locally baked bread. Overall highlight was the awesome tiramisu "Tiramisugo" with Cornish rum - bought some of these as Christmas gifts and they were unanimously described as the best the recipients had ever tasted.
