An endless blue sky bookended by mountain ranges is the setting for this KOA in Arizona's McMullen Valley, northwest of Phoenix. On US 60 between Wickenburg and Quartzsite, the campground provides unbeatable access to surrounding desert public lands. ATV riders can depart right from this KOA onto a web of more than 300 miles of trails that wind through hills and washes, and even to old gold mines. A half hour southwest, explore Kofa National Wildlife Refuge. Nearby Quartzsite is a rock hound's paradise (gem shows in winter). At KOA, enjoy the pool and hot tub, play mini golf or shoot a game of pool in "Diamond Jim's Billiards Game Parlour." The clubhouse is perfect for reunions/parties. Pool: Open all year. Max pull thru: 60 feet.
We have stayed here before. Out in the desert and isolated. We arrived on a Wednesday and the office was closed. Signs up about short staffing There is a couple temporarily running the place but the office is closed more than it is open. Can’t get our mail. Can’t get anything in the store. Trash dumpsters full. Won’t be back and going to try and get some of my money back.

This was an unexpected find. Nice roomy RV pull-through. Beautiful pool. Quiet at night. We were there for a one-night stay and didn't use laundry or restrooms. Place looked clean and well-appointed. One of the things we really appreciated was a rule that no flags other than US, state, or sports teams could be flown. We wish more parks would adopt this rule!

Manager telling lies to the owner about a well loved person staying there, OH, there's a couple of new Rules, can NOT stand around with several people for more than 5 minutes, it's against the law, you are gossiping. I would love to see the written law on that one and the law where you can't have 2 people on a golf cart. Owner said she talked personally with the police. The camp is a Peyton Place. Owner is a real coward for listening to the bad manager. Do not stay there. They'll kick you out if they don't like you.

A nice place for 55 and older RV people for a night or the season. It's nice to be in an area where we can dine in restaurants and go for a walk to enjoy the sunset. Looking forward ATV/UTV trips when it cools off a bit.
