A new chalet located not far from Mersing town. Offer a clean and cozy room with reasonable price.
A cozy place to stay. Clean surroundings. By the sea. A lot of warung along the way for each meal. A stroll by the sea would be among the best activities. Not far from Mersing Town. Need some upgrade for a swimming pool or children playground.

It was advertised as Luxury tent on Booking.com and the check-in time is at 14:00. During my booking online, I have provided my estimated arrival from 14:00-16:00 but there’s no one at the property during this timing. I called the mobile number of the advertised property and was told that check-in is 17:00 onwards. It was a waste of my time waiting for 3hrs. Additionally, the cleaning and changing of bed sheets only done during check-in and the tent wasn’t ready until 17:30. Photos of Phoenix Hotel included in Booking.com and the 1st impression that Kanopi Seaside was part of the Hotel. I was at Phoenix Hotel’s front desk to check in but was told Kanopi Seaside is not part of the hotel. It was very misleading. Therefore, there’s no shower facility, fitness cente and complimentary wifi as advertised. Guests of Kanopi Seaside has to use the public toilets without shower, shared by construction workers in the carpark which was 5mins walk away. Cold shower by the public poolside is closed by 7:30pm. I have already paid cash for the amount of RM199.00 to Kenny directly during check-in at 5:30pm on Sat, Dec 30 but i received an email from Booking.com the next day as No Show and my Booking was cancelled. The next day, Kenny admitted his mistake that the no show was someone else, the tent next to mine. He confirmed that he will rectify the mistake with Booking.com. For RM199 (offer buy 1 get 1 Free) is over price as there are no amenities including toothbrush, towels and mineral waters provided. I cannot imagine that such place listed under Booking.com and the property wasn’t as advertised . It’s not even luxury. Leakage in some other tents due to heavy rain as was told by otter guests the next day. Will I come back? absolutely not! I’m asking for full refund from Booking.com due to false advertisement.

Took a drive from Johor Bahru and reached the farm after about 2 1/2 hours. However, it was rather disappointing when the farm appeared dilapidated and abandoned. No one was inside and the entrance at the gate was closed.

Glamping is short for glamorous or luxury camping. It's a way to experience the splendour of the Malaysia's outdoor without forgoing the creature comfort you can't live without. There's no tent to pitch, no sleeping bag to unroll, no meals to cook. It's luxury camping in the Grand scale. Nestled 3 km from in the rustic waterfall area of Kota Tinggi, Johor, is a pristine rainforest that you can immerse in the peaceful country life. We offer luxurious elegant Bell Tent accommodations and exclusive hospitality. Enjoy charcoal grilled BBQ by your tent, exciting outdoor activities and an unforgetable authentic country glamping experience. We stayed here over a year ago so things may have changed since then (doubtful) however this place is an absolute dump. The owner had some showers and a bathroom built on the very small property however they were so dirty, smelly and literally scary to go into that my kids said they'd rather go in a bush outside than go inside. The "private" fire we paid money for to be at our campsite consisted of burning an old wooden palate complete with rusty nails that one of the poor staff ended up stepping on with her rubber sandals and puncturing her foot. Of course they have zero first aid there but luckily I brought a large first-aid kit and tended to her foot. The tents are old, moldy and not worthy of sleeping in for the price you pay. The small property itself is completely unmaintained and strewn with garbage and broken glass. The "private" grill set up next to our campsite we paid for consisted of a grill that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in 10-15 years and was never actually brought to us because it was the only grill they had for their own food, we had to set up in their "kitchen" and cook along with the staff who were cooking for other guests. Take some pride in your business and at least make an effort at maintaining the grounds and keeping it clean. DO NOT STAY HERE, YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Spend a couple of days for a peaceful holiday here. Occupy at a quadruple standard bedroom. (We did notice that the New Management currently is doing some maintenance and upgrades works at this resort.) Over here, I like to be waking up in the early morning by rooster crowing. At night be able to see night sky full of stars. Moreover I like this peaceful beautiful and greenery resort. At other aspect, the management need to rectify the basic room facilities due to that is place for us to relax and sleep... e.g. bathroom basin leakage, inconsistent water supply, room cleanliness can be better and … Overall, we are satisfied with our stay at this place even though facilities at this resort has few significant shortfalls By the way, this resort come with - use salt water to maintenance: swimming pool, bicycle renting, karaoke room, outdoor basketball court, indoor hall and so on. Our room is without TV (suitable for us) and I think this place also best suite for team building program. Hopefully when we come again, resort facilities been upgrade, improve and rectify.
