This popular resort town is located just a mile from Windermere Lake, the largest lake in Europe and alleged home of more than one peculiar sea creature. If we've scared you out of skiing, boating and fishing in Windermere Lake, there's always horseback riding and golf. Or you can explore the lake from the safety of a ferryboat, which regularly takes passengers from Hawkshead to Bownes.

We have a fleet of electrically driven, eco friendly, boats with seating up to ten people for self-drive on the lake. Our company has been operating on Windermere for 90 years and offers a complete boating experience. There are 3 different types of boat and we have just introduced a special "Pink" boat in aid of Cancer Research to collect donations for the organisation.

Hello, thank you for your interest in a special day fishing the iconic Windermere. You & up to 2 guests will enjoy the beautiful scenery onboard a motorboat. Spent a relaxing day fishing with a professional experienced guide such as myself, I'm a passionate Angler who has fished 30+ years & have featured in Anglers Mail numerous times. The lake has an abundance of various freshwater fish to specimen size with a great opportunity of a stunning photo before fish are returned. A perfect day out.

I moved to the Lake District to study at the University Of Cumbria. Having been a lover of the outdoors from an early age, I chose to study Outdoor Education. On this course I developed an in-depth knowledge and love of the Lake District. Four years on, I am a fully-fledged member of the local community working for an adventure-activity company based on Lake Windermere. On my days off I often go for a paddle on Windermere and this is the experience I would like to share with others.
We specialise in adventures for solos and singles. We offer weekends away, holidays and adventures for anyone wanting to try something new.
