Sedona is a true oasis, a vacationer’s paradise in the middle of the Arizona desert. Here, you’ll find resorts and spas, canyons and red rock formations. Bell Rock and Oak Creek Canyon are great hiking spots, and the dramatic architecture of the Chapel of the Holy Cross is a religious experience itself. When the sun dips down below the horizon it introduces the best show in Sedona: the night sky.

Great hike. When combined with High on the Hog and Hog Heaven this may be my favorite in Sedona. The views are superb. There are few sharp dropoffs -- but they are only just enough to make it fun.

An intermediate-level hiking and biking trail stretches 2.6 miles from Schenebly Hill Road down to Oak Creek.
The trailhead for this hike is easy to reach from town; it's just up Schnebly Hill Rd which is off the AZ-179 roundabout right before the Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping area. Beautiful views and not too difficult. Enjoy!
