The Kings Live Lounge is the first phase of the wider project to restore Kirkcaldy's former ABC cinema back into a world class, state of the art, 2000 capacity live entertainment venue. We have opened a venue in the old YWCA building on Kirkcaldy’s waterfront. Kings Live Lounge boasts a beautiful art-deco inspired bar, state of the art 120 capacity live performance space and community use spaces.
I went to see Paper Sparrow in the amazing stage room ... and saw 2 other great bands too for the price of a couple of pints. Lovely intimate atmosphere with friendly staff, cheap prices and unique setting. A truly special community venture. I often stop in for a coffee or a late afternoon beer in the small, comfortable lounge.

A group of us went for afternoon tea and it was brilliant A great selection of savouries sandwiches and scones with cream and lovely dainty cakes. The tiered plates were lovely presented and there was so much food. The service was excellent we were offered take away boxes for the food that was left over. The staff are always so pleasant at Betty nicols and big thank you to the lady who set up the afternoon tea

What a great place, I highly recommend it. Lovely, cosy decor with a choice of lounge or bar seating. Be careful though, the measures are a tad larger than average..... things can get messy ???? Luckily, there is zero judgement from the fellow punters. I'll definitely be back!
