The hotel was okay. Not super clean (toenail on the floor between the beds, and a small spot (ping pong ball) resembling blood on the drape). Beds were comfortable, and the room was relatively quiet for an airport hotel. Breakfast was so-so, but free.

I've stayed many times over the years for business and pleasure. When I arrive, I can physically feel my blood pressure go down. I keep the balcony door open: Fresh salt air breeze, distant train & seagull sounds. Bar is intimate and private. Activity on the harbor is fun to watch. Breakfast views start the day perfectly.

We thought this was a great stay and we were pleased. The room was clean and updated and we were very comfortable. We stayed in a King Bay View room which had a great view of the bay area. We were able to walk outside and enjoy the views along a walkway as well. The service was pretty good and the casino was fun. Many restaurants inside for convenience. Food was average. Parking was no problem. We would go back.

Stopped in at All Water at Hotel 1000 for a drink with a friend and Eric was the bartender. He was friendly and knowledgeable, made great recommendations. He chatted and joked with everyone there, created a great vibe.

We were very disappointed in the ranch. There were multiple small problems as might be expected in such an operation: no power to a plug in the cabin, lumpy beds And a light fixture that didn’t work. But, by far the most outstanding failure of this establishment was that they totally ignored the state mandate for wearing masks. Bethany, who introduced herself as the manager, made no apologies and in fact said, incorrectly, that she could not force people to wear masks. While this may be true of the guests it certainly is not true of the employees none of whom wore masks not even the food servers. The driver of the shuttle did not wear a mask, and there was no evidence of any social distancing on the bus, though some of the guests did wear masks. We elected to rent and ride bicycles to town in 100 degee heat. It was a needlessly harrowing experience that put our whole family at risk.

Opened in 1995, Bull Hill Guest Ranch is part of a large working cattle ranch that dates back to 1903. Rich in history and tradition, the ranch today has become a favored destination for families, corporate retreats and the outdoor adventurer who is looking for authentic western living amidst the tall pines and cedars. It is especially noted for its fly fishing and horseback riding.
Stayed 3 days and I can't say enough about the hospitality of the wranglers, especially Jackie. She took her time to custom fit our wants for riding including a cattle drive that took about 4 hours to complete. I was sore after that ride, but well worth it. We covered alot of terrain and had great conversations with the other guests that tagged along. The fall colors were amazing. We ended our stay with a trip to the "Saloon" in the middle of no where. Great fun. I'd recommend this ranch to anyone who loves to ride period.
