Clover Brooke Farm Llama Alpaca Hikes

Come visit our countryside farm in the historic Hudson Valley, original homestead dating back to 1850 on 25 bucolic pastured acres raising alpacas, llamas, sheep and goats. We offer llama/alpaca walks on trails offering scenic vistas, rolling hillsides and pastural settings. Our tours are 1 1/2 hr long introducing you and encouraging hands on our smaller, animals, followed by an hour hike with a llama or alpaca all to yourself. You will experience our very charamastic camelids while strolling through pastures, hopfield, meadows and woods for a unforgettable experience.

Such a wonderful fun day spent on the farm, we started off with visiting the smaller animals on the farm which were baby goats, chickens, alpacas, and the barn kitty Rascal! Andrea was a wonderful guide, gave the girls some awesome information about the animals and they asked her some questions as well. The hike was really nice, pretty mild hike, not hard at all. At the top we stopped for photos which was nice. The farm is beautifully kept and has so much history, we enjoyed it so much!

My girlfriend and I visited the sanctuary today and we had a great time. Our guide, Kaden did a tremendous job of bringing us around the farm to meet all the animals, describe their various situations and give us information about the different species. It's really a terrific way to spend a few hours, get some fresh air and learn a few things. On a side note, I'd like to address comments in some of the reviews I've read about so called " vegan lectures." We experienced no such thing. What we did learn is that all these animals, big and small have feelings, quirks and characteristics much the same as people. If that's something you can't handle for some reason? Your problem. Anyway, fantastic day! Thanks CAS!

Bailiwick is a small but has a great variety of animals. Bears, tigers, kangaroos and more. Prices are reasonable and staff is very friendly. It also is a horseback riding center with ring and trail rides and lessons too. Great place to spend the day.
