Paddys River Falls

Magnificent waterfalls, just a 15 minutes drive from Tumbarumba, heading towards Tooma. Short walk to the viewing platform (less than 100m) and little further to falls. Great opportunity for photography.

What a glorious place to take in the views and walk down beneath the thundering waterfalls. Formed by Hexagonal columns of a remnant basalt flow. Picnic tables, lookout and toilets.

The rest of the land is generally very flat and then there are these mounds with bubbling water forming pools well above ground level. There are some fish that live in these pools. We didn't see them but a lady we met said she saw one in The Bubbler.

This was a beautiful short walk from the car park to the waterfalls. It was like walking into a fairy tale with butterflies and beautifully coloured birds everywhere. I highly recommend coming here if you are near by and taking in the beautiful scenery.

Hindmarsh Falls

Reviewed By Gwen008 - Perth, Australia

Hindmarsh Falls are less than 20km from Victor Harbor via a very pretty drive. Most of the way is sealed roads but the last short distance is gravel. From the car park s about 200 metres down to the falls, partly on sealed pathway and partly on steps. Like most waterfalls,Hindmarsh Falls would be most spectacular after a lot of rain, but even at the end of summer, it's still a pretty spot to visit with enough water to make it worthwhile. There is a small picnic area before you reach the falls.

We never miss a chance to come out to the falls. From the first car park its a lovely walk for most, from the second carpark it is a very steep walk down to the falls, able bodied will find first car park easier. Allow one hour for a good walk around the falls
