Pretoria is a vision of purple, thanks to its plethora of blossoming trees that gave the South African metropolis its nickname: Jacaranda City. Give in to the animal magnetism of the National Zoological Gardens of South Africa, then get up close and personal with the big, bad kitties of the Cheetah Research and Breeding Centre. The buildings of Pretoria reflect diverse architectural styles and influences, creating a unique urban landscape.

Conveniently located in Pretoria East close to modern amenities, but with a distinct rural ambiance, lies one of the city’s most elegant guest houses. Nestled in secluded lush gardens, Villa Amor offers luxurious accommodation, world-class conference facilities, delectable South African fusion cuisine and personal service.
Stayed at the Villa Amor for two weeks. The stay was overall quite pleasant. Barrie was a good host and very hospitable. The room was clean, laundry service was effective, breakfast was good, wifi was reliable, and the overall premises were well maintained and nice.

This guest house has accommodations for various travelers from singles, to students, to families or the business or diplomatic guests. Eclectic and fun decor features firm mattresses, Wi-Fi, tv, and kitchens with airy rooms and entry of shaded outdoor groupings for a casual meet-up or small gathering. Close to the university and around the corner from the GauTrain. Two swimming pools and a pair friendly dogs in a walled village-like setting made up feel at home. Full breakfasts kept us going all day. The management is also very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our week there.

Comfortable private guesthouse near everything, but quiet and calm once on the premises. In the room you will find a comfortable bed with crispy percale linen and white towels. A spa-like en suite shower. Inside the room a small refrigerator, microwave and complimentary coffee-and tea. A little sherry to welcome guests. Sweets are available at a small fee. Full bouquet DSTV channels, air conditioning and a hairdryer. In front of the room there is a lovely little courtyard if you prefer to be private. Guests are also welcome to sit in the owner's garden if they prefer. A swimming pool is on the premises to use from October to 15 April. The pool gets covered during the winter months. No breakfast is included, but guests can order breakfast at an additional fee if they prefer. R80 continental and R100 English breakfast.
This was a lovely find. Close to Sun Arena, where I needed to go. The room was nice, modern and clean. The bathroom was also new with a good shower. The owner was friendly, check in was quick and professional and she gave me some very good Woolies coffee. Just 2 minor things: Unfortunately, there was no milk for the coffee, which I only realized when I got up at 5 in the morning. And the outside light in front of the room has a super sensitive motion sensor. So it keeps going on and off constantly which was slightly annoying and could be seen even through the closed curtains. Nevertheless, would definitely stay there again.
