The views are incredible. Well worth seeing. Entrance to the Adventure Park is required, and if you're so inclined a Serious Zip Line is available. Allegedly the longest in the world, and quite amazing. If you take the Zip Line, you will need to book that first, then a return trip via the Teleferique. I didn't do the Zip Line, but it looked well worth doing. I get twitchy at precarious heights, so just took the Teleferique both ways. Very comfortable, and stunning views. Do it.

Orizaba’s Cable Car, with its 917 meters of length, is the third longest in Mexico. It connects Historic Downtown with the top of the Cerro del Borrego. Live an adventure to 320 meters of height that you will never forget!
I got to the area and easily bought a round trip ticket for 70 pesos. This allows 2 hours. I had to wait in line for about 30 for my 3 o'clock ride. Ride is cool. They do have and follow covid precautions too. One house hold per car about 4 or 5 max riders. I got a solo car. I took in the views. About a 5 minute ride. I walked around the mointain top and took pics. The have a few things to see. An Orizaba history museum and a reenactment of how the french fought against mexico. They have a zipline too. It's about 150-200 yards. Cost 100 pesos. Small snack bar area. Two hours is plenty of time.

A 10-minute cable car ride between two small mountain peaks in the city's historic section.
This is a very nice ride with a wonderful view! Facilities and equipment is very modern and new. PRO TIP: get a taxi to La Bufa, after some sightseeing there take the teleferico ONE WAY and you will get off one block of EL EDEN mine, then you could visit the mine on the same day and paying half teleferico ticket. Trip is short but very enjoyable.

The Teleferico is a cable or tram car that travels between two very high towers in the Zona Histórica de Los Fuertes. You can get terrific views of the city, the volcanoes and of course the park below. It is 850 meters between the towers, so it isn´t a long ride, and it is straight across. It doesn't go up an incline.
