I booked the Northern Lights near Reykjavic with Egill on my first night of a 14 day self driving tour of Iceland. Although Mother Nature did not bless us with the Aurora that night, I enjoyed the tour and the incredible starry night skies above Iceland. Egill went above and beyond trying to find the lights while keeping us entertained with stories about his growing up in Iceland, elves, trolls, and other Icelandic folklore. Egill is a walking Icelandic encyclopedia and gave me some great tips for the rest of my 14 day self driving tour.

Take the Southcoast or southshore tour of Iceland to see Reynisdragar at the black beach. The non-manmade basalt columns are a sight to see as nature's own version of urban buildings. This is one of my favorite tours.
